VTuber Agency “TENGOKUGUMI” releases controversial Slanderous Video against hololive Production Talents
VTuber agency TENGOKUGUMI (天獄組) is in controversy for publishing a video defaming the talents of VTuber agency hololive Production (ホロライブプロダクション), operated by COVER Corporation.
On January 24 (PST), TENGOKUGUMI released a video featuring Nanba One (難波ワン), Zettai Shori (絶対ショウリ), and Aun (阿吽). The contents of video included the following: “Sakura Miko (さくらみこ) (or Natsuiro Matsuri (夏色まつり)), a talent of hololive Production’s Japanese group “hololive," will be arrested for m*rijuana possession.“
As of January 25, the relevant video is no longer available.
TENGOKUGUMI is a male talent agency operated by VTuber agency SINSOGUMI. In October 2022, Ikinone Tomeru (息根とめる), a talent of SINSOGUMI, was banned from all streaming platforms for her involvement in the so-called “AV Splatoon (AVスプラ)" incident, in which adult video footage was combined and streamed to Nintendo’s “Splatoon 3".
The slanderous video by “TENGOKUGUMI" against the hololive Production talents has been criticized by a number of VTuber viewers, who have also reported the incident to the COVER that operates hololive Production.
