Sakura Miko and SHARP’s Collaborative Humidifying Air Purifier goes on Sale February 21

SHARP CORPORATION announced on January 22 (PST) that it will release a humidified air purifier on February 21 (JST) in collaboration with Sakura Miko (さくらみこ) of hololive, a Japanese group from hololive Production, a VTuber agency operated by COVER Corporation.

Sakura Miko’s relationship with SHARP began with the “Humidifier Incident" that occurred at Stream in December 2021. SHARP’s official X (formerly Twitter) responded to Sakura Miko’s mistaken belief that the humidifier would humidify without water. Subsequently, the collaboration with SHARP was announced at Sakura Miko’s 1st live “flower fantasista" held on October 26, 2024.

SHARP representative visited COVER’s CEO Tanigo Motoaki (谷郷元昭 / YAGOO), and apologized for the fact that the collaborative humidifying air purifier to be released this time was designed to be filled with water as usual.
