Momosuzu Nene Warns Against Some Forces Spreading and Slandering her Comments Without Permission, and Thanks Nekko (Viewers) who Keep her Promises

On January 19 (PST), Momosuzu Nene (桃鈴ねね), a talent of the Japanese group “hololive" of COVER Corporation-operated VTuber agency hololive Production, issued a warning to some forces that spread and slander the prohibited content she said in her stream without permission.

In a recent stream, Nene Momozu made a statement about the prohibited spread of content about herself. In response, it has been confirmed that some mindless forces are spreading this content on anonymous bulletin boards and clipped videos without permission, slandering her, hololive Production, and COVER.

On the other hand, Momosuzu Nene seems to understand that it is not her fans who are doing this unauthorized spreading and slandering, and she expresses her gratitude to Nekko (ねっ子 / Momosuzu Nene’s viewers) who are keeping their promises.

Not limited to Momosuzu Nene’s case, in recent years, it has been confirmed that some forces are twisting and spreading statements made by VTuber personalities in their videos or spreading prohibited content without permission, leading to slander and libel.

We believe that both the talent and the companies are well aware that many of these unthinking people are malicious entities that do not fall under the category of fans. If you discover any such malicious forces defaming the talent, agencies, or management companies, please report it immediately.

On January 8 (PST), COVER released a report on its activities to address slanderous and other infringing acts against the company and hololive Production’s talents, announcing that it had responded to 252 cases of infringement from January to December 2024.
