O’Lilou Loulou and Squirmimi made their debut on November 18, 2024, as part of “Hexokai," a 3rd-gen globie talents.
In addition, a community note has been added to the Honkichi Agency post (tweet), stating that the alleged actors of both talents claim that they were “Forcibly locked out of their accounts and immediately terminated by management due to multiple contract violations," among other things.
As of February 27, the following are the accusations made by the alleged actors of both talents. Please note that these are allegations made by the alleged actors and not by globie.
Seely (Considered an Actor in O’Lilou Loulou)
- The management asked her to sign a pledge that she had no criminal or anti-social ties, fearing “Possible ties to the mob".
- globie initially refused to accept gifts from fans on the grounds that the agency would have to pay taxes.
- The contract included a year non-compete clause, which she believes is not enforceable in France.
HoboBaibie (Considered an Actor in Squirmimi)
- She was called into a meeting at night outside of work hours with no explanation as to why she was there; she was repeatedly harassed despite giving 24 hours notice and requesting that she attend during work hours.
- She received an email stating that she had violated two clauses of her contract, although the reasons for her termination were never explained.
- She believes that her own contract is not enforceable in her country.
Response from globie Talents
Some of the agency’s talents have postponed their streams and collaboration since the event.
VTuber fans have been critical of the agency in the wake of this incident, but at this point, information is so mixed that we have not yet reached a stage where we can judge the goodness or badness of any of the people or organizations involved. We will continue to gather more information and will update articles with the latest information as it becomes available.
