“Gawr Gura” Disappears from the Official Tokyo Tourism Ambassador Website (Beware of a Hoax Circulating in Some Communities!)
As of April 12 (PST), “Gawr Gura (がうる・ぐら)," a talent of hololive English (hololive-EN), an English group of hololive Production (ホロライブプロダクション), a VTuber agency operated by COVER Corporation, has disappeared from the “Tokyo Tourism Ambassador (東京観光大使)" official page.

Note that this page is operated by Tokyo Metropolitan Government (東京都), and it has not been confirmed at what time Gawr Gura disappeared. The most recent archive points out that Gawr Gura may have been listed on the page until January 25.
Gawr Gura was appointed as Tokyo Tourism Ambassador in February 2023, together with Sakuea Miko (さくらみこ / Japanese group “hololive") and Mori Calliope (森カリオペ / hololive English).
It is unclear at this time whether Gawr Gura has resigned as Tokyo Tourism Ambassador. Although there have been some baseless and malicious hoax about the talent, as of April 12, neither the Tokyo Metropolitan Government nor COVER has made any official announcement about the talent. Please note that no decision has been officially announced regarding this talent.
