hololive English’s VTuber “Gawr Gura” to Graduate on May 1; World’s No. 1 VTuber in Terms of YouTube Subscribers

Gawr Gura (がうる・ぐら), a talent of hololive English (hololive-EN), the English language group of COVER Corporation-operated VTuber agency “hololive Production," announced in a stream on 15 April at 19:30 (PST) that she is graduating from the agency.

Gawr Gura debuted in her first stream on September 13, 2020 as “Myth," a unit that corresponds to hololive English 1st-Gen, and as of April 15, she is the VTuber with 4.55 million subscribers on her official YouTube channel, the most in the world.

In recent years, the frequency of stream activities has been decreasing. In addition, the “Tokyo Tourism Ambassador," who was appointed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, had disappeared from the official page.
