Hoshimachi Suisei’s Song “BIBBIDIBA” becomes the First VTuber to Surpass 100 Million Cumulative Views on the Billboard JAPAN Streaming Songs Chart

Billboard JAPAN announced on January 21 (PST) that “BIBBIDIBA (ビビデバ)," a song by Hoshimachi Suisei (星街すいせい), a talent of the Japanese group “hololive" of hololive Production, a VTuber agency operated by COVER Corporation, has surpassed 100 million cumulative streaming views on the Billboard JAPAN chart.

BIBBIDIBA" was released digitally on March 23, 2024 (JST). It was the biggest hit in Hoshimachi Suisei’s history, and the music video reached 100 million views on November 15 of the same year.

Debuting at No. 76 on Billboard JAPAN’s Streaming Songs chart on April 3, 2024, the song remained in the Top 100 for 26 consecutive weeks and surpassed 100 million total views in its 43rd week on the chart.

In addition, the third full-length album “SHINSEI MOKUROKU (新星目録)," which also includes “BIBBIDIBA," was released today, January 21.
