Usui Clear becomes an Ambassador for the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System “MICHIBIKI”
Japan’s Cabinet Office announced on January 27 (PST) that Usui Clear (宇推くりあ), a personal VTuber celebrity, has been appointed as an ambassador for the “MICHIBIKI (みちびき / Quasi-Zenith Satellite System)".
Usui Clear debuted on October 10, 2020. As a rocketry idol VTuber, Usui Clear has utilized her extensive knowledge of space and rockets, simultaneously watching rocket launches around the world and appearing at JAXA (Japan Aerospace eXploration Agency) events.
She also plans to collaborate with the official MICHIBIKI website in the future. “H3 No.5," Japan’s newest rocket carrying “MICHIBIKI 6", is scheduled to be launched on February 1 (JST), and a special program will be broadcast on the Weather News Channel. WEATHERROID Type A Airi, Japan’s oldest VTuber, will also appear.
